We are looking for software engineering interns to help us develop the next generation of BrainNook. The requirements for this position are:
  • Actionscript 2.0 or 3.0 programming experience
  • Flex/MXML experience (desirable)
  • PHP and MySQL experience (desirable)
  • Experience with client-server programming
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts
  • Experience with writing custom UI components
  • Good English communication skills

Most importantly, we are looking for strong programmers who are excited about technology and interested in exploring new areas. Ability to take initiative and work as part of a small team is critical.

Summer Internship for Graduates/ MBA from Bangalore. We (Mikiyaka LLC) are a startup based out of Chicago. We are setting up our India operations in Bangalore. We help companies in developing and implementing an inbound marketing strategy that helps them sell more effectively and efficiently. Our clients include both startups and large companies.

We are looking for people with a flair to write. The ideal person will have the following skills-
  • Extremely good written and spoken English skills
  • Aware of latest happening in business and technology space
  • Confidence to interview and discuss with executives of our client companies
  • Produce top quality written, audio and video content
  • Degree students in English / Journalism or Business

We would prefer candidates from Bangalore but are open to hire the right candidate from other cities as well.

Positions: 4 to 5.

Candidate Qualifications and Qualities:

  • Prospective candidate must be majoring in Marketing / Event Management or a related field at an accredited institution.

  • Candidates with strong computer-related skills and analytic problem solving abilities are preferred.
  • Furthermore, experience of working in cross-functional team settings is an advantage.

Position Description and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will likely focus the majority of his or her efforts in the Marketing area of Sports and Events. However, the candidate will also gain valuable exposure to other areas within Operations (R&D, Communication, Technicals, Distribution and Channel Marketing)

Key areas of focus will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Researching for sports marketing and event marketing. The candidate will have direct contact with potential customers.
  2. Assist in sales and marketing initiatives for the current programs
  3. Provide key tactical support for Operational activities
  4. Interact with the Operations head in respective cities and obtain valuable operations input with making yourself very flexible towards operational difficulties on a day to day basis.
  5. Provide support for the development and enhancement of sports and event marketing tools to support strategic selling efforts.
  6. To explore synergies that may exist with key customers.
  7. Provide support for market analysis and research efforts in sports education markets critical to Soccernova.
  8. Engage in Quality/R&D/ Implementation efforts to troubleshoot problems that threaten a quality marketing strategy.
  9. Identify, track and report opportunities to leverage sports and event marketing for incoming business.
  10. Other projects as assigned to the candidate
  11. Online marketing
