As India celebrates it's 65th Independence Day, the Let Me Know team in association with Freecharge brings for all its fans and users a National Level Writing Contest. A contest which would judge your creativity in any form of writing - article, essay, blog post, poetry, prose, play, letter or a story (you know any other form - let us know). The language of write up should be English.
We spent a considerable time in deciding the topic for this contest. Our motherland has been known as an incredible destination on the world map. Delving into the current state of India and it's people gives us an entirely different picture - a nation which is robbed by its guardians, a nation which features in top ten corrupt countries, a nation which is flooded with political scams, a nation where bollywood, cricket and politics alone hijack the prime time news, a nation which is exposed to terror attacks and has become a testing ground for new explosives, an agricultural nation where rural to urban migration is an alarming occurrence, the second most populous country racing ahead to beat China, a nation where rich is getting richer and poor getting poorer and the list continues...
