It's built up a brilliant reputation and the fact that it has done that with so many loyal customers, I think, is amazing. I also love their shoes! | Hobbies | Photography and art – I'm currently on an art course so at the moment it takes up a big amount of my time. Also socialising with friends and I love meeting new people. | Qualifications | Art foundation degree from Manchester Metropolitan University and I am currently on a Visual Arts course at the University of Cumbria. | Career goal | I've got so many ideas that I don't know what to do yet! I hope that during my last year of university, something will stand out. I don't know whether I want it to be photography based, or on a completely different track of social media. | What was your internship role? | A rep for WYGU (When You Grow Up). It's a new social network start up based on careers and gaining contacts and advice. | Best bit of your internship | Getting to connect with so many different people, some which have led me onto other opportunities. I also got a sense of achievement and I felt that I was really building my self-confidence as it was the first time I had done anything like this. | Worst bit of your internship | :I guess it was the fact that I was working from home. I live really far away from London, but I would love to visit it for longer than just a weekend. | Where do you see yourself in five years time? | Hopefully either freelancing as a photographer for magazines starting my own business in social media and events. Big difference I know! | Describe yourself in three words | Organised, reliable, and fun! | | | | | | | Internship schemes boost students' job prospects A report published yesterday (6 July) shows how HEFCE funding for internships during the recession has boosted graduate employment and employability, increased the number of businesses working with higher education and increased the number of people participating in internships.
