Vapiano – good food, a nice place to meet with friends and to have endless conversations. Qualifications BA Labour Market Management, University of Applied Labour Studies, Germany. Why did you do an internship? Gain valuable work experience in a recruitment agency, meet interesting people, improve my language skills and have an unforgettable time abroad. What does your internship involve? I invite suitable candidates into the office after looking through lots of CVs and interview them in order to find out if they meet the requirements of our roles. Your favourite part of your internship? To read a name of a candidate who I interviewed on the "placed candidates" board in our office. Any advice for future interns? Whatever you do, act as if it were impossible to fail! Describe yourself in three words :Ambitious, happy and communicative!           Rise in self-employed graduates Rising numbers of graduates are choosing to work for themselves or take professional qualifications after leaving university, new figures suggest. Data published by the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) shows that 4.4% of those who left university last summer were self employed or working as a freelance six months after graduation. This is an increase on the previous year, when the figure stood at 4.1%.
